Chiropractic and Sports Medicine
Charles W Jones was born and raised in Southern California and has been active in competitive sports from a very young age. He began playing organized Baseball and American Football at the age of 8, in his teenage years he began to race motocross reaching the 3rdhighest ranked rider in the state of California, with over 1,500 riders in his class.
During this time he experienced several sports injuries to his body which included multiple fractures and herniated discs in his cervical and lumbar spine. These injuries influenced him as a young man to become a Chiropractic Sports Physician.
He graduated Cum Laude in 1989 from the Southern California University of Health Science. During his time at the university he was an active member of the sports medicine team and was greatly influenced by Dr. Vladimir Janda’s work in researching and understanding the pattern of muscular compensation and postural imbalances in the body. Dr. Janda was a visiting professor at the university during this time.
After graduation Dr. Jones began working in Long Beach California where he treated many amateur and professional athletes. In 1992 to 1996 he was recruited to work in Riyadh Saudi Arabia working with their National Football, Basketball and Olympic track and field teams.
Dr. Jones returned to America in 1996 to work in one of the largest Chiropractic Sports Medicine Centers in the State of Kentucky.
In 1997 he then returned to the Middle East to work for the General Medical Centre and set up a Sports Medicine specific clinic; The Gulf American Clinic, a Sports Medicine Clinic which then went on to become the largest in the Middle East.
In 2008 Dr. Jones opened California Chiropractic and Sports Medicine Center located in Dubai Healthcare City, a state-of-the-art Chiropractic and Sports Medicine Center which offers patients the best quality of chiropractic care anywhere in the world.
The Center uses the latest technology available directly from the United States; and is subject to the highest level of quality assurance governed by the American Licensing Standards. Dr Jones believes in a combination of manipulation, physiotherapy and exercise for a more complete approach to treating a patient's condition.

At the Center, Dr Jones has created a team of like-minded professionals and the practice consists of three chiropractors, an orthopedic surgeon, sports rehabilitation therapist, physical therapist, physiotherapy nurses and acupuncturist.
Dr Jones also works closely with the Ministry of Health in the licensing of new Chiropractors to the United Arab Emirates.
Dr Jones is the only licensed medical examiner in the Middle East to represent the Titleist Performance Institute which involves assessing a golf player’s stance and swing to enhance performance and avoiding injury. He has also provided onsite care for the annual Dubai International Rugby Sevens Tournament and is Medical Director of the Middle East International Softball Tournament.
Over his 20 year career Dr Jones has treated many professional and celebrity athletes, including American football, basketball, rugby, cricket and soccer players; NASCAR drivers, horse jockeys, top 10 World ranked golf and tennis professionals and Gold medal winning Olympic athletes.
Along with his duties at California Chiropractic and Sports Medicine, Dr. Jones is now working with the Butch Harmon Dubai School of Golf specializing in golf fitness and performance enhancement for professional and amateur golfers.
In January 2010 Medical Director at the Al Naboodah Invitational at the Creek Golf and Yacht Club, players at the event included: Lee Westwood, Rory Mcilroy, Sergio Garcia, Darren Clarke, Chris Wood, Graeme Mcdowell, amongst many others.
