Dr. Charles W. Jones

Chiropractic and Sports Medicine

Charles W Jones was born and raised in Southern California and has been active in competitive sports from a very young age. He began playing organized Baseball and American Football at the age of 8, in his teenage years he began to race motocross reaching the 3^rd highest ranked rider in the state of California, with over 1,500 riders in his class.

During this time he experienced several sports injuries to his body which included multiple fractures and herniated discs in his cervical and lumbar spine. These injuries influenced him as a young man to become a Chiropractic Sports Physician.

He graduated Cum Laude in 1989 from the Southern California University of Health Science. During his time at the university he was an active member of the sports medicine team and was greatly influenced by Dr. Vladimir Janda’s work in researching and understanding the pattern of muscular compensation and postural imbalances in the body. Dr. Janda was a visiting professor at the university during this time.

After graduation Dr. Jones began working in Long Beach California where he treated many amateur and professional athletes. In 1992 to 1996 he was recruited to work in Riyadh Saudi Arabia working with their National Football, Basketball and Olympic track and field teams.

Dr. Jones returned to America in 1996 to work in one of the largest Chiropractic Sports Medicine Centers in the State of Kentucky.

In 1997 he then returned to the Middle East to work for the General Medical Centre and set up a Sports Medicine specific clinic; The Gulf American Clinic, a Sports Medicine Clinic which then went on to become the largest in the Middle East.

In 2008 Dr. Jones opened California Chiropractic and Sports Medicine Center located in Dubai Healthcare City, a state-of-the-art Chiropractic and Sports Medicine Center which offers patients the best quality of chiropractic care anywhere in the world.

The Center uses the latest technology available directly from the United States; and is subject to the highest level of quality assurance governed by the American Licensing Standards.Dr Jones believes in a combination of manipulation, physiotherapy and exercise for a more complete approach to treating a patient's condition.

At the Center, Dr Jones has created a team of like-minded professionals and the practice consists of three chiropractors, an orthopedic surgeon, sports rehabilitation therapist, physical therapist, physiotherapy nurses and acupuncturist.

Dr Jones also works closely with the Ministry of Health in the licensing of new Chiropractors to the United Arab Emirates.

Dr Jones is the only licensed medical examiner in the Middle East to represent the Titleist Performance Institute which involves assessing a golf player’s stance and swing to enhance performance and avoiding injury. He has also provided onsite care for the annual Dubai International Rugby Sevens Tournament and is Medical Director of the Middle East International Softball Tournament.

Over his 20 year career Dr Jones has treated many professional and celebrity athletes, including American football, basketball, rugby, cricket and soccer players; NASCAR drivers, horse jockeys, top 10 World ranked golf and tennis professionals and Gold medal winning Olympic athletes.

Along with his duties at California Chiropractic and Sports Medicine, Dr. Jones is now working with the Butch Harmon Dubai School of Golf specializing in golf fitness and performance enhancement for professional and amateur golfers.

Dr. Niveen El- Saleh

Bsc, B.S, D.C, F.I.M.A, N.B.C.E.( USA)

Chiropractor

Dr. El- Saleh has a B.S in Biology from the University of Western Ontario in Canada , a Bsc in Human Biology and a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from the National University of Health Sciences in Illinois.

Dr. El- Saleh is a fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture and has received extensive training in the areas of holistic Chiropractic, botanical medicine, supplements, Kinesiotaping, rehabilitation, functional medicine, Chinese Cupping, Soft tissue manipulation, Physical Therapy, gait analysis, orthotic fitting, detoxification of liver, kidney and colon, weight management, addiction therapy, rain drop technique with essential oils and homeopathy.

Dr. El- Saleh’s approach to disease is finding the core problem, fixing it and educating patients how they an live a healthy preventative lifestyle. She practices holistic medicine, which foresees disease as a culmination of three factors:

Emotional stress, structural problems and chemical imbalance.

Dr. Niveen has worked at major multidisciplinary clinics, pain management clinic, and was the full time Chiropractor at University of Illinois Chicago Hospital.

John C Bouillon MD

Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr Bouillon is an orthopedic surgeon licensed in Massachusetts, New York, Vermont and Dubai Healthcare City. Trained at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, Dr Bouillon has practiced for over 25 years in Massachusetts.  In 1999, he was honored by the Massachusetts House of Representatives for his clinical work in orthopaedic surgery. He was attending physician for several dance companies from New York City; he was recently consultant at the Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma Washington, the largest US military hospital and academic center on the West Coast. He has a special interest in hand and peripheral nerve surgery. He is the director of the Dellon Institute for Peripheral Nerve Surgery at Dubai Healthcare City. He is also the president of USA Orthopedic Consultants LLC with offices in New York and Dubai.

Dr Bouillon promotes healthcare literacy in the Middle East through lectures at regional medical centers along with radio and television programming. He is the founder of the Gulf Society for Surgery of the Hand.

Concordia S. Solda

Registered Nurse

Concordia graduated with a bachelor degree in Nursing, and practiced as registered nurse for over 25 years in various hospitals in both the  Philippines and abroad. She has remarkable experience in the fields of emergency and health care, staff management, training, and industrial nursing. Family life has changed Concordia’s priorities from a 24hour hospital environment to the out-patient clinic. Motivated by belief of “touch” as a tool of healing, she started training on Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation and Sport Medicine. Up to date she is still working as a nurse-therapist.

She believes that a patient has to be treated as a whole, since a healthy mind and body foster a healthy lifestyle.

Jennifer Umil

Registered Nurse

Jennifer graduated from nursing school in the Philippines in 2003 and gained extensive nursing skills and knowledge from her duty rotations in various hospital departments such as Medical Surgical, ER, Pediatrics, ICU and the OR.

Since being in Dubai Jennifer has diversified into the area of working with Acupuncture and Physiotherapy, during this time she used the latest innovations in the field of Acupuncture.

Jenifer believes in touch therapy as a way of achieving optimum levels of wellness.
