Sports Rehabilitation in Dubai
Our team of sports medicine professionals at California Chiropractic and Sports Medicine Center Dubai, are trained to treat a wide range of sports injuries that may result from acute trauma or sports injury associated with athletic activities. Sports injuries can affect many areas and tissues of the body such as ligaments, muscles, tendons and joints. Sports injuries are commonly caused by overuse, direct impact, or an application of force that is greater than the body can structurally withstand. Whether your sports injury is acute or chronic, if pain persists, we recommended coming to see one of our Specialists.
An injury that occurs as a direct result of a sudden event, such as a twisted knee, is called an acute injury. In contrast, an injury that is caused by overusing the same muscle group or joints, is called a chronic injury. Poor fitness, technique and structural abnormalities can also contribute to the development of sports injuries. At California Chiropractic and Sports Medicine Center, we have a unique approach to sport injury rehabilitation. Our rehab specialists assess the functional movement of our patients, and come up with strategies that help to give you better functionality at your sport or activity. We encourage screenings for physiological weaknesses that may lead to injury, and recommend working along side a Physiotherapist or Performance Coach in order to eliminate them.
